Independence High: Here's how your bread turned out!

Students from Independence High School were in the Friendship Trays kitchen this morning under the auspices of Communities in Schools. Kitchen Manager Sibyl Durant put them to work preparing cranberry pan bread. Alas, the young people had to head back to school before the bread came out of the ovens. So here it is, folks, missing only the wonderful fresh smell! The bread will be used on the meal line Wednesday morning, feeding more than 500 members of the community who are no longer able to prepare their own meals.
