Dilworth Home Tour donation

Kira Deter, left, and Nancy Kramer, right, presented Executive Director Lucy Bush Carter with a $2,800 donation Tuesday. The check represented a portion of the proceeds from September's Dilworth Home Tour, which Deter chaired this year. Kramer's Dilworth Cares Committee of the Dilworth Community Development Association chose Friendship Trays as this year's focus agency for its philanthropic activity. The donation will subside the cost of meals for a year for two people paying the 65 cents per meal that Friendship Trays charges its very lowest-income recipients.
