Garden to Table Camp

Nineteen children spent afternoons this week at Friendship Trays, learning about gardening, composting, and how food is prepared for the table. Children were out Thursday picking blackberries that they would later turn into a dessert – that they would then eat! The project drew coverage Thursday from a Time-Warner Cable News14 crew. A short piece on the camp aired in the 6 o'clock hour and thereafter.
