Lisa Moore writes about Owen keeping chickens at home, and about his work at Covenant Presbyterian Church and Friendship Trays.

"It’s been interesting," Moore quotes Owen as saying, "to see what has been possible with only volunteers, a couple bucks, a weedy lot, and a lot of excitement. We hope to eventually have a network of gardens across the city that all grow food for Friendship Trays and spread gardening education."
