CHS Volunteers: Between stints Monday helping in the kitchen, corporate recruiting staffers from Carolinas Healthcare System's human resources department gather around the Friendship Trays delivery map as Volunteer Coordinator Lani Lawrence (blue sweater near map) describes Friendship Trays' overall mission and its daily work.  Monday began a busy week in which those recipients who asked for them were receiving by Wednesday extra meals to tide them over during the Thanksgiving holiday. Friendship Trays will not deliver meals on Thursday or Friday this week. Our thanks to CHS employees and all other volunteers who are making for a smooth holiday week and dependable service to Friendship Trays recipients.
