Dilworth Coffee supports building fund

Jason Dominy, right, of Dilworth Coffee on Monday presented Friendship Trays Executive Director Lucy Bush Carter with a $180 donation to the 2401 Distribution Street building maintenance fund. Dominy said that at last weekend's training program, which also marked Dilworth Coffee's 20th anniversary, money was collected toward the maintenance fund for Dilworth Coffee's nonprofit neighbors who occupy warehouse space across from Dilworth Coffee's facility. The building fund helps fix roof leaks and keep equipment in good repair in the space shared by Friendship Trays, the Community Culinary School of Charlotte, Encore Catering and the Society of St. Andrew. The Dilworth Coffee weekend event drew about 200 people from across the Southeast, Dominy said.
