Up to the task

Erik Robinson, 8, delivered Route 12 off Albemarle Road this week with his dad Scott. Getting from the delivery vehicle to the front door with enough food and beverage for two people is a big task, but Erik was up to it. And you would be too. Friendship Trays delivers hundreds of meals each day to a constantly changing group of ailing or homebound neighbors. Last we heard, Erik, a home-schooled student, was headed off on his lunch hour to deliver another route across town. Thanks, Erik, and thanks to all our volunteers.
