Throughout October, Friendship Trays has been honoring the more than 1,000 volunteers who help in the kitchen, deliver meals and provide other support for this work. Together they make the mission possible. On Friday, the day before Halloween, what else could there be out in the lobby but TREATS! Come and enjoy. And if you can volunteer a few hours a week or a few hours a month to help make sure that homebound or ailing residents of Charlotte-Mecklenburg get the nutritious meals they need, call Volunteer Coordinator Lani Lawrence at 704-333-9229.
