Two groups shared kitchen duty today. As a group from Carmel Presbyterian Church bagged bread, left, an employee group from Duke Energy filled and sealed meal trays. Friendship Trays needs volunteers to substitute for other volunteers taking vacations. Could your group drive routes on a weekday lunch hour, or help out in the kitchen. If you drive, you don't have to wear a hair net! Call us at 704-333-9229 for a time for your group to help deliver nutritious meals to those in our community no longer able to prepare their own meals.
