From hydroponic farm to meal trays

Thursday morning, this hydroponically grown lettuce had its roots in water at Tega Hills Farm in Fort Mill. On Monday, the leaves will add spectacular color and nutrition under the tuna salad delivered to many Friendship Trays recipients. Mark and Mindy Robinson's donation to the Society of St. Andrew, the gleaning network, made this possible. Boxes of lettuce went to Friendship Trays, to the Clover Senior Center and the York County Council on Aging.
