James Marcus, foreground, was part of a Duke Energy team helping package Friendship Trays meals Wednesday. Marcus, who installs software for the utility, found the work "a lot easier" than his daily work. You might, too. Marcus didn't say the volunteer stint was electrifying. But it's work that helps the people of his native city. And THAT is a powerful gift.
