Charlotte Roller Girls bring roller derby back to
Charlotte
Jan. 27, 2008
Charlotte
hasn't seen roller derby in town since the 1970s. But about 3,000 people
came out Sunday night to Cricket Arena as Charlotte Roller Girls played the
Quad Squad from Columbia, which won the bout 87-78. A portion of the
proceeds from the event were to be donated to Friendship Trays. Below
are trackside scenes and other photos.
