This year's Golf Benefit will again be held at Carolina Golf Club on Old Steele Creek Road.
   Two new holes have opened since last year and the new practice facilities should be available.
   The date is set for Monday, May 14, beginning with a shotgun start at noon.
   Community participation and your support are critical to help make this fund-raiser a success -- our thirteenth year for this event! Sponsors are needed for the outing.
   Team packages, inclusive of sponsor options and player sign-ups, are available, ranging from $200 per player to $250-$2,500 for sponsor packages.
   Donations of raffle items are also needed; financial and in-kind support is also welcome.
   Here are the four packages:

-- $2,500 Best Friend includes four complimentary player registrations, hole sponsorship, and acknowledgement and recognition in the tournament program.

-- $800 Good Friend includes four player registrations.

-- $250 Hole Sponsor includes signage at the hole.

-- $200 Single Player.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third low net scores and one prize will be awarded for the low gross score. The format will be a four-player modified captain's choice scramble.
   Registration deadline is April 30.
