Prudential's SouthPark office got written up in the company's e-newsletter, Around the Rock, for a food drive in conjunction with the larger company's Global Volunteer Day. Friendship Trays recipients will to be the beneficiaries.

The SouthPark office is collecting "small or single serving, non-perishable food which will be delivered before winter weather or road conditions prevent the home bound from receiving their normal hot meal." The office goal is to fill a box a week through Oct. 20. 

"Especially needed are cans of tuna or chicken, single servings of canned fruit (particularly sugar-free fruit), small packs of crackers, graham crackers, animal crackers, etc.," the newsletter stated.

"South Park sales associates are encouraged to use this event as a great opportunity to contact their customers and clients, or sphere of influence, their family and friends. It?s a great message to let people know Prudential gives back to our community in many positive ways and plant seeds for potential sales later!"
