Friendship Trays has been chosen to be the “Friend of Earth Fare” charity for the month of June 2005.  This is a program that has evolved over the years providing the organic supermarket with the opportunity to partner with their customers to promote recycling and, at the same time, benefit local nonprofit organizations.

Here’s how the program works:  Every time a customer uses a recycled or canvas shopping bag instead of a new one, ten cents will be donated to that month’s featured not-for-profit.  Additionally, Friendship Trays staff will be at the North Community House Road store the weekend of June 25^th and 26^th helping out as baggers.
