Friendship Trays delivers
On the map below, push pins mark areas
served by Friendship Trays as of Jan. 5, 2009. As we can find more volunteer
drivers, we will add routes beyond our current reach. Thin red flags mark
neighborhoods where prospective recipients are waiting because Friendship
Trays does not have the volunteers, subsidy funds or both to reach the
neighborhood. In general, routes
extend west in Mecklenburg to Paw Creek Road; north to W.T Harris Boulevard;
east to Lebanon Road near the Cabarrus line; and south to around I-485.
The photo below is of a wall map hanging in the South End office of
Friendship Trays. The map shows all current routes. A push-pin map of subset
of routes regularly served out of our satellite facility at Friendship
Missionary Baptist Church on Beatties Ford Road hangs in that office.
