The 2010 Garden Party!

July 30, 2010

Set aside Saturday, Oct. 2 for an evening celebration of local food, local gardening and acting locally to fight hunger.

The 2010 version of the Garden Party will again see local chefs and culinarians gather to offer fine food made from the Metrolina harvest.

And we'll celebrate another year of building gardens and broadening public awareness of the value of eating well.

More details will be available soon, but we know the venue:

The party will be held under a tent at Friendship Trays in lower South End next to the Friendship Garden, a collaborative demonstration garden created by Slow Food Charlotte volunteers.

And with luck, this year's party will also be held under a cloudless sky with perfect weather.
