On Tuesday, representatives of the Friendship Garden, Slow Food Charlotte and Mecklenburg County's Wipe Out Waste program led a panel discussion at the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Forum on the partnerships that created the Friendship Garden in 2009 and, with funding from a Women's Impact Fund grant, are expected to launch additional gardens in the Charlotte area this year.
