Garden volunteer Henry Owen writes about the white dust in the picture above right: "It's BT, an organically approved biological pesticide. It should keep the cabbage worms off that were eating all the holes. I'm not sure if the crop will make it, though. It is late in the season and they were stressed when we got them. That's why they were free."
